Report of the Annual Meeting of the

Bar Association of North Dakota

At Jamestown, N. D., Sept. 3 and 4, 1912

The meeting of the Association was called to order by President Greene.

An address of welcome was presented by Hon. Marion Conklin of the Jamestown bar:

Mr. President, and Gentlemen of the State Bar Association of North Dakota: On behalf of the Stutsman County Bar, we wish to express to you in unmeasured terms our gratification in having you with us here today. We appreciate the honor conferred upon us, that you have for the second time selected Jamestown as the place of holding your annual meeting. We are glad to see so good an attendance including among the members present so many eminent lawyers and jurists of the state, for it assures all that the matters coming before you for consideration will be wisely considered, and that much good will come to the profession and the public generally from this meeting.

We again extend to you our hearty welcome and assure you that each and every member of the Stutsman County Bar Association and the citizens of Jamestown will put forth their best efforts to make your stay with us as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.

President Greene: I am sure that the Bar will agree that we should all thank the citizens of Jamestown and the Stutsman County Bar Association for the graceful welcome they give us, and we all agree that if the entertainment continues in the same measure that it has started out we shall be glad we came.

The secretary and treasurer then submitted his annual reports, the treasurer's report being referred to the auditing committee.

At 10:30 President Greene delivered the annual address, which is reported in full in the appendix to this report.

At the conclusion of the president's address the Association adjourned until 2:30 p. m.
