OF THE
THE WORLD.

By Messrs. G. W. & C. B. COLTON & CO.,

172 William Street, New York.

The map consists of two hemispheres, large, on one sheet. Dimensions, 6} by 12 feet. It is printed in oil colors, on fine cloth manufactured and finished expressly for this purpose. The names of the central stations of all Protestant Missionary Societies, both American and Foreign, are shown in bold lettering. The stations of American Societies are distinguished by being underlined in green, and those of other Societies by a line of red color, so that, without the least confusion, these important facts are prominently presented to the eye at first glance.

The stations of the American Board will have a special mark of designation, a heavy red dot. The corners of the map are utilized by being filled with statistics of population of the grand divisions and their sub-divisions. A Manual, or Key, accompanies the map.

Price of Map, with Manual, $20.00.

SPECIAL TERMS.

In order to encourage and ensure the preparation and publication of so important an aid, the officers of the AMERICAN BOARD contracted to take a considerable number of the Maps as soon as issued. The Presbyterian Review, speaking of the History of the India Missions, -the last published, says: "It is another contribution to modern Missionary History by the venerable author, such as none but he is qualified to write, and makes a thoroughly attractive and readable volume."

The story is told with charming simplicity and pathos, and the incidents which crowd the volume are invested with a fascination of a work of fiction. - Zion's Herald.

The author has rendered an invaluable service to the cause of Missions. The Independent.

The man who can read these volumes, and pronounces modern Missions a failure, is to be pitied. — The Advance.

As the Book of Acts possesses qualities shared by no other portion of the Sacred Scriptures, so such a recital of the acts of these modern apostles fills a place of its own without a rival. The Congregationalist. Full of encouragement to all friends of Missions, and one of the most interesting and important of Misdozary publications. — Christian Work (London).

One of the most valuable contributions to Missionary literature ever issued from the press. The London Congregationalist.

The History deserves to be read and pondered by all who sympathize with the divine work of redeeming the world by the power of revealed truth. The English Independent.

It is safe to say that the wisest and most thoughtful ministers and laymen will be most deeply interested and profited in reading them, and most strongly persuaded that this book of the acts of the modern apostles is well-nigh indispensable to a clerical library. -PRESIDENT BARTLETT, in The New Englander.

Laying all religious opinions aside, one may read either of these volumes with a degree of instruction and interest which few works can equally supply.-Atlantic Monthly.
