WEATHER STRIPS.

The Matthewson Strip, readily adjusted on the bottom of doors and even windows, and rightly adjusted, has proved to be the best article as yet introduced into the market. It excludes dust, rain, snow, and cold air from the bottom of doors, which is a saving of fuel, and adds to comfort; and I would say to people in the country, they can be obtained by the dozen or half dozen at the reduced price of $7.00 per dozen; and expresses are so numerous from all sections, that it is very convenient to send from all quarters and obtain them.

Steam Engines, Shafting, Pulleys and Hangers, Hand Lathes, Chucks, Slide Rests, Ball Turning Machines, Hoisting Machines, with Safety Apparatus attached, and Belting, on hand and

manufactured to order.

The above'cut represents a first-class Lathe, with Nason's Patent Screw-Chasing Apparatus attached.

N. B. GEO. H. FOX & CO. are the ONLY authorised Manufacturers and venders in the United States of the above Patented apparatus.

The Lathe is particularly calculated for the manufacture of Steam and Gas Fittings. It is arranged to be used for turning, boring straight or taper holes, boring cocks, facing plain surfaces, and screw chasing.

The Section of Shafting with Coupling here represented needs no explanation; its advantages will be seen by every mechanic and manufacturer. This plan of Hangers and Coupling has been in use some eight years, and has given universal satisfaction. It is fitted with Patent Boxes, which ADJUST THEMSELVES TO THE SHAFT, and in every way calculated for economy in oil, to prevent friction; and for durability it is unequalled.
