BY PROF. E. A. ANDREWS AND S. STODDARD, In announcing the Revised Edition of Andrews' & Stoddard's Latin Grammar, the Publishers believe it to be quite unnecessary to speak of the merits of the work. The fact that in the space of about Twenty years, SIXTY-FIVE EDITIONS, numbering above TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND COPIES, have been required for the purpose of meeting the steadily increasing demand for the work, sufficiently evinces the estimation in which it has been held. In preparing this Revised and Enlarged edition, every portion of the original work has been reconsidered in the light of the experience of twenty years spent by the present editor in studies connected with this department of education, and with the aid of numerous publications in the same department, which, during this period, have issued from the European press.
