Resolved to reconsider said Vote & to Concur. The Act pointing out the Office and Duty of the Secretary of State was again taken up, Read and Resolved that Mr. Jacob be Appointed to return said Act to the House and Assign the reasons for not acting upon it. The Act regulating poor Debtors swearing out of Goal &c. having [passed] the House, read & resolved that Mr. Lynde be Appointed to return said Act to the House and assign the reasons for not acting upon it.
