About the author (2002)

George Kimmich Beach is the editor of three volumes of essays by the liberal theologian James Luther Adams, The Prophethood of All Believers (Beacon, 1986), An Examined Faith: Social Context and Religious Commitment (Beacon, 1991), and The Essential James Luther Adams: Selected Essays and Addresses (Skinner House, 1998). Now retired from full-time ministry, Beach lives in Virginia with his wife, Barbara.
