OPENHAGEN, the great business and holiday centre for Denmark and Scandinavia, can be speedily reached via Harwich-Esbjerg by the splendidly appointed Royal Danish Mail Steamers (four main sailings per week). The Saloon accommodation and the catering on these vessels are all that can be desired, and the pleasant sea voyage is accomplished in about 24 hours. The train journey from Esbjerg to Copenhagen occupies about 8 hours.

Steamers run regularly from Copenhagen to Gothenburg, also to Christiania, the centre for trips in Norway, in addition to which there are steamers and ferries maintaining a frequent Danish coastal service.

Frequent trains carry passengers direct to Stockholm.
