them. They will rise around you the bu wark and ornament of your declining years; they will fulfil your hopes, enhance your pleasures, and sweeten all your cares. Their pious hands will close your eyes, and in dying you will leave them rich in your instructions; and by your example, and by the prayers that you have treasured in heaven for them, your best and noblest legacy to the world. And at the last great day, from their graves, they and future generations will rise to call you blessed. And instead of calling on the mountains and rocks to fall on you, and hide you from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,' you will be able to stand,' and say with humble confidence, Here am I, O Lord! and the children that thou hast given me.'
