We offer the following reasons in favor of our College:

1. It sends forth, from its Normal Department, thoroughly prepared Teachers for the Cominon Schools of the country.

2. It furnishes well qualified young men for the work of the Ministry.

3.-It makes an effort to obtain Boarding for students at the actual cost of provisions and cooking.

4. The courses of study are so arranged as to give the greatest amount of mental discipline in the least possible time.

5.-The course in the Normal Department is adapted to the wants of those desiring to obtain FIRST-CLASS State certificates.

6. The location is all that could be desired. Bedford is the countyseat of Lawrence county, and is situated on the L... N. A. & C. railroad, ten miles north of the crossing of the O. & M. railroad, at Mitchell, and is at present the terminus of the St. L., B. & S. railroad
