60. Trinity Sunday. H Early in the morning our song shall rise OLY, Holy, Holy! LORD GOD Almighty! to Thee: Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and Mighty ; GOD in THREE PERSONS, Blessed TRINITY! Holy, Holy, Holy! all the Saints adore Thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; Cherubim and Seraphim falling down before Thee, Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be! Holy, Holy, Holy! though the darkness hide Thee, Though the eye of sinful man Thy Glory may not see, Only Thou art Holy: there is none beside Thee Perfect in Power, in Love, in Purity! Holy, Holy, Holy! LORD GOD Almighty! Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and Mighty, Amen. 61. GOD of Life, Whose Power benign Doth o'er the world in mercy shine, Accept our praise, for we are Thine. 62. O FATHER, Uncreated LORD, O SON of GOD, for sinners slain! O HOLY GHOST, Whose guardian Care O Holy, Blessed TRINITY, With faith we sinners bow to Thee; THOU, Whom neither time nor space And Thou, that from Thy bright Abode And Thou, Whose Unction from on high Dread SPIRIT, art for ever ONE! Great First and Last! Thy Blessing give, And do that Will Thou would'st have done. Amen. 63. Holy Baptism. GLA LAD sight! the Holy Church To welcome to her breast a child Begotten at the font By GOD the SPIRIT'S Power, E'en now around the font, There to receive their charge And all the host of Heaven To see one child of fallen man How true o'er Jordan's stream Once by the stream discern'd Praise Him Who made,-praise Him 64. WT ITH CHRIST We share a mystic grave, Yet not within the darksome cave The pure and bright baptismal flood Thrice blest, if through this world of sin, And lust, and selfish care, Our resurrection-mantle, white And undefiled, we wear. Thrice blest, if through the gate of death, Glorious at last and free, We to our joyful rising pass, O Risen LORD, with Thee. Amen. H |
