The Queen has been pleased to ordain and declare that Charles-Pelham Villiers, Esq. one of the representatives in Parliament for the borough of Wolverhampton; Edward-Ernest Villiers, Esq.; Henry Montague Villiers, Clerk, Vicar of Kenilworth, in the county of Warwick; AugustusAlgernon Villiers, Esq. Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, and Knight of the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic, of Spain; and Maria Theresa, the wife of Thomas Henry Lister, Esq. the younger brothers and sister of the Right Honourable George William Frederick Earl of Clarendon, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, and Her Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Her Catholic Majesty, may henceforth have, hold, and enjoy the same titles, place, pre-eminence, and precedence which would have been due to them respectively if their late father, George Villiers, Esq. (commonly called the Honourable George Villiers), had survived his elder brother, the Right Honourable John-Charles late Earl of Clarendon, and had thereby succeeded to the said title and dignity of Earl of Clarendon :

And Her Majesty has also been pleased to command, that the said royal order and declaration be registered in Her College of Arms.

The QUEEN's Most Excellent Majesty in Council.

HER Majesty having been pleased to appoint the Most Noble Constantine Henry Marquess of Normanby to be one of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, his Lordship was this day, by Her Majesty's command, sworn one of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State accordingly.

Her Majesty having been pleased to appoint the Right Honourable Robert John Lord Carrington to be Lord Lieutenant and Custos Rotulorum of the county of Buckingham, his Lordship this day took the Oaths appointed to be taken thereupon, instead of the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy.
