69. Perfons that shall be delivered are, the Poor and Needy. Job xxxvi. 15. He delivereth the Poor in his Affliction.

73. God delivereth into natural Evil, God delivereth the wicked into the Hands of their Enemies.

1 Kings xiii. 26. The Prophet faid, the Man of God was difobedient to the Word of the Lord, therefore the Lord hath delivered him unto the Lion.

2 Chron. xxv. zo. Amaziah would not hearken to Advice, for it came of God, that he might deliver them into the Hand of their Enemies.

Ifa. xxxiv. 2. The Indignation of the Lord is upon all Nations, and his Fury upon all their Armies, he hath utterly deftroyed them, he hath delivered them to the Slaughter.

The Lord doth keep his People,

74. God doth keep his Servants from Evil. Gen. xxviii. 15. The Lord faid to Jacob, behold I am with thee, and will keep thee, in all Places, whither thou goeft, and I will not leave thee, Ver. 20, 21.

Exod. xxiii. 20. The Lord faid, behold I fend an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the Way, and to bring thee into the Place, which I have prepared.

Numb. vi. 23. On this wife Aaron and his Sons, fhall blefs the Children of Ifrael, faying,

Ver. 25. The Lord make his Face fhine upon thee, and be gracious

1 Sam. ii. 9. The Lord will keep the Feet of his Saints, and the Wicked fhall be filent in Darkness, for by Strength fhall no Man prevail. xxv. 34. David faid, bleffed be the Lord, that hath kept his Servant from doing Evil. Ver. 39:

1 Chron. iv. 10. Jabez called on God, and faid, O that thou wouldst blefs me; and keep me from Evil.

Job xxxiii. 18. He keepeth back his Soul from the Pit, and his Life from perifhing by the Sword.

Pf. xii. 7. Thou wilt keep them, O Lord, and fhalt preferve them from this Generation. Pf. 31. 20.

xvii. 8. Keep me as the Apple of thine Eye, hide me under the Shadow of thy Wings.

xix. 13. Keep back thy Servant, from prefumptuous Sins.

xxxiii. 19. The Eye of the Lord is on them that fear him, to keep them alive in Famine.

xxxiv. 20. The Lord keepeth all his Bones, not one of them is

broken.

xci. 11. He shall give his Angels Charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy Ways.

cxxi. 3. He will not fuffer thy Foot to be moved, he that keepeth thee will not flumber.

cxxvii. 1. Except the Lord keep the City, the Watch-Men watck

But in vain.

cxl. 4. Keep me, O Lord, from the Hands of the Wicked. cxli. 3. O Lord, keep the Door of my Lips.

Ver. 9. Keep me from the Snare laid for me.

Prov. iii. 26. The Lord fhall keep thy Foot from being taken. Ifa. xxvi. 3. Thou wilt keep him in perfect Peace, whofe Heart is stayed on thee.

xxvii. 3. The Lord will keep the Vine-yard, he will water it, he will keep it Night and Day.

xlii. 6. I will keep thee, and give thee for a Covenant of the People. Jer. xxxi. 10. He will gather Ifrael, and will keep him as a Shepherd doth his Flock.

John xvii. 11. Jefus prayed thus, holy Father, keep through thine own Name, thofe whom thou haft given me.

Ver. 15. I pray, that thou fhouldft keep them from the Evil that is in the World.

2 Theff. iii. 3. The Lord is faithful, who will stablish you, and keep you from Evil.

2 Tim. i. 12. The Lord whom I have believed, is able to keep that, which I have committed unto him.

1 Pet. i. 5. We are kept by the Power of God, through Faith unto Salvation.

iv. 19. Let them that fuffer, according to the Will of God, commit the keeping of their Souls unto him, in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Jude Ver. 24. Unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to prefent you faultless before the Prefence of his Glory, with exceeding Joy.

Ver. 25. To the only wife God our Saviour, be Glory and Majesty, Dominion and Power, both now and ever.

Rev. iii, 10. I will keep thee from the Hour of Temptation.

God Preferveth.

75. God preferveth his People, Gen. xlv. 8. Jofeph faid, God fent me hither, to preferve you, a Pofterity in the Earth.

Deut. vi. 24. God commanded us, to do these Statutes, and to fear the Lord our God, for our Good always, that he might preserve us alive as at this Day.

Jof. xxiv. 17. God preferved us in all the Way wherein we went, among all People, through whom we paffed.

2 Sam. viii. 6. The Lord preferved David whitherfoever he went, 1 Sam. 30. 23.

Neh. ix. 6. Lord, thou haft måde all Things, and thou preferveft them all.

Job vii. 20. I have finned, what fhalf I do unto thee, O thou Preferver of Men.

x. 12. Thou haft granted me Life and Favour, and thy Visitation preferveth my Spirit.

xcvii. 10. The Lord preferveth the Souls of his Saints, he delivereth them out of the Hand of the Wicked, Pf. 140. 1.

cxvi. 6. The Lord preferveth the Simple.

cxxi. 7. The Lord thall preferve thee from all Evil, he shall preserve thy Soul.
