The GENERAL LAWS, REVISION OF 1923, become effective December 31, 1923, and on and after that date in consulting the Public Laws passed at the January session, 1923, reference should be had to this volume of REVISED PUBLIC LAWS OF 1923, which revision becomes effective December 31, 1923, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 52, passed by the General Assembly at its January session, 1923.

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 461 of the Revised Public Laws, herein contained, all laws passed at the January session, 1923, shall, on and after December 31, 1923, be taken and deemed to be in amendment of or in addition to the GENERAL LAWS, REVISION OF 1923.
