CHAPTER 410.

AN ACT MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR MILITIA Passed Oct. 1,
AND MILITARY AFFAIRS.

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. The sum of ten thousand three hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated for militia and military affairs for the fiscal year ending on the thirty-first day of December, A. D. 1896, in addition to the amount appropriated by act of the general assembly, passed January 31, A. D. 1896; and the state auditor is hereby directed to draw his orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of the same upon the receipt of proper vouchers approved by the governor.

SEC. 2. Said sum of ten thousand three hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be expended in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 296 of the General Laws "Of the Militia."

SEC. 3. This act shall take effect from and after its passage,

CHAPTER 411.

AN ACT MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE
SUPPORT OF THE STATE FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEM-
BER 31, 1896.

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as may be authorized by law, are hereby appropriated to the objects hereinafter expressed, in addition to the amounts heretofore appropriated, for the support of the state for the fiscal year ending on the 31st day of December, A. D. 1896; and the state auditor is hereby authorized to draw his order on the general treasurer for such portion thereof as may be required from time to time, upon receipt by him of properly authenticated

vouchers.

For jurors of supreme court, five thousand dollars. For officers of supreme court, two thousand dollars. For witnesses of district courts, five hundred dollars. For Providence county court house, five hundred dollars.

For witnesses of supreme court, one thousand dollars. For public buildings, Washington county, one hundred dollars.

For state board of health, fifteen hundred dollars. For care Providence county court house, one hundred dollars.

For accounts allowed by general assembly, one thousand dollars.

For state printing, four thousand dollars.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect from and after the date of its passage.
