The General Court of 1861 assembled in the State House in Boston, on Wednesday, the second day of January, and was prorogued on Thursday, the eleventh day of April.

The oaths of office required by the Constitution, were administered to His Excellency JOHN A. ANDREW, on Saturday, the fifth day of January.

GENERAL AND SPECIAL.

An Act to transfeR A CERTAIN APPROPRIATION MADE IN THE YEAR Chap. 1.

ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND SIXTY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General
Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter two hundred and twenty-two of the Appropriation acts of eighteen hundred and sixty, is hereby so amended, 1859 applied to that the sum therein appropriated for printing General 1860. Laws of eighteen hundred and fifty-nine, is transferred and appropriated for printing General Laws of eighteen hundred and sixty.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect on its passage.

AN ACT TO EXTEND THE TIME FOR LOCATING AND CONSTRUCTING THE Chap. 2.

MYSTIC RIVER RAILROAD.

Be it enacted, &c., as follows:
