STATEMENT

Of monies reported by the Presbyteries to have been collected for the Missionary and Commissioners' funds; and likewise of the monies collected for the education of poor and pious youth for the gospel ministry. The sums actually paid to the Treasurer of the Trustees of the General Assembly, as certified by those who paid the money, are stated at the foot of each Presbyterial account. The Presbyteries belonging to Synods which conduct the missionary business in a separate capacity, do not pay into the hands of the Treasurer the monies collected by them for the support of missions; nor do any of the Presbyteries pay to him the sums collected for the education of poor and pious youth for the Gospel ministry but all the Presbyteries are required, by the General Assembly, to report annually to them what they have collected for these purposes.

the

The statements are taken from the Presbyterial reports, where they are not mentioned as taken from Synodical reports.
