About the author (2003)

Raymond Knister was born May 27, 1899 in Ruscom, Ontario. He attended University of Toronto and Iowa State University. In addition to poetry, he also wrote short stories and novels. White Narcissus, his first novel was published in 1929. His novel, My Star Predominant, a volume of short stories he edited and a collection of his poetry were all published posthumously. He drowned in Lake St. Clair, Ontario on August 29, 1932.
